Abstract: Four indexes suitable for evaluation of technical economy of coking coal preparation plant is proposed according to the concept of misplaced material in GB/T15715 Coal gravity separating equipment-Performance evaluation. Combined with yield and corresponding ash content of clean coal,middlings and refuse,these indexes can be simply calculated on the basis of two stage float-and-sink（ quick float） test data,which is convenient for coal preparation plant to evaluate technical economy.
