长焰煤表面性质及其对可浮性的影响

    The surface property of long flame coal and its effecton flotability of such coal

    • 摘要: 以长焰煤为研究对象,采用傅立叶红外光谱分析、XPS分析、电位仪检测、比表面积自动测定仪检测煤样的表面性质,发现长焰煤中氧元素的相对含量高达28.04%,存在于C—O、C=O和COO—亲水基团中的C占长焰煤C元素总量的43.26%,且孔隙发达,比表面积达2.650 9 m2/g,说明长焰煤疏水性较差,不易浮选;通过分析五种不同捕收剂的红外光谱图,发现含有一定数量—OH、C=O不饱和键基团的捕收剂能够与低阶煤表面的含氧基团发生弱氢键结合,携带捕收剂中非极性烃类C—C、C—H长链基团吸附在低阶煤表面,从而增强低阶煤表面疏水性;由浮选药剂与低阶煤作用前后煤颗粒XPS能谱的变化情况推断,浮选药剂在低阶煤表面的吸附属于物理吸附;最后提出了应当根据低阶煤的表面性质有针对性地研发浮选药剂的建议。

       

      Abstract: A study is made on the surface property of long flame coal through Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic analysis,XPS analysis,potentiometric analysis and the use of automatic specific surface area measuring apparatus. It is found that the relative proportion of oxygen element in long flame coal is as high as 28. 04 percent while the proportion of C in C—O, C=O and COO— hydrophilic group accounts for 43. 26 percent of the total in flame coal,and the C element is of a porous structure with a specific surface area reaching 2. 650 9 m2/g. It indicates that long flame coal is poor in hydrophobicity and flotability. As revealed by analysis of the FTIR spectrums of 5 different kinds of collectors,the collector containing a certain amount of such unsaturated-bond group as —OH, C=O can combine with the oxygen-containing groups on low-rank coal surface through weak oxygen bonds,increasing,therefore,the hydrophobicity of the surface of the low-rank coal due to absorption of the long-chain groups of the nonpolar hydrocarbon C—C and C—H onto the coal surface. It can be inferred through the variation of the XPS spectrum of the coal surface. It can be inferred through the variation of the XPS spectrum of the coal particles before and after the reaction of flotation reagent with the low-rank coal,the absorption of flotation reagent on surface of low-rank coal is essentially a kind of physical absorption. It is proposed at the last that,for the flotation of low-rank coal,the development of flotation reagent be specifically made according to the surface property of the coal.
