Abstract: Shiban Coal Preparation Power Plant is confronted with the trouble of operating with an excessively high consumption of diesel oil.Based on an analysis of the cause and the existing operation conditions,a series of specific countermeasures are adopted.These include,among others,optimization of slurry treatment system,tightening of management in handling of flotation reagents,optimization of reagent dosing mode and improvement of quality of circulating water.Practice shows that the renovation and optimization of the technological process has led to more consistent feed size,much improved quality of dilution water,reduction of total consumption of flotation reagents by 28 percentage points,an increase of total flotation concentrate ratio by 9.33 percentage points,bringing forth,therefore,a favorable economic result for the plant.
