Abstract: In order to increase the proportion of the raw coal treated and the quality of products,the paper presents an in-depth analysis of the problems encountered in the operation of the slurry treatment system of the plant from 3 aspects,i. e. raw coal property,coal washing process and process equipment.Based on result of analysis,a feasible and practical technical scheme is proposed as a solution,that is to say,reduction of volume of secondary slime produced,increase of thickening efficiency of thickening pond and increase of capacity of filter press. Result of field implementation of the scheme has resulted in a drop of the volume of secondary slime by over 30 percentage points and an increase of the capacity of the filter-pressing system by more than 10 percentage points.
