Abstract: The flotation system at the plant is found to be poor in performance. For tackling this problem, a series of optimization measures is taken based on analysis of the influence factors, such as feed density, property of blends, reagent regime and filter efficiency, so as to improve the performance of the flotation system. The operation of the optimized flotation system has led to a noticeably rise of stabilization ratio of concentrate by one percentage point, and a reduction of total consumption of flotation agent by 0.08 kg/t (dry coal), well demonstrating the remarked performance of the flotation system.
