Abstract:
For obtaining a higher flotation concentrate recovery rate, and in light of the property of the raw coal treated at Nantong Plant's Ganbazi section, a comparative analysis is made of the working principle, structure and operating process of the recessed-plate filter press and disc pressure filter. Analysis shows that the former is rational in structural design, high in dewatering efficiency, and highly adaptable to the raw coal property. With the use of the filter press, the moisture of flotation concentrate can be lowered to 21%. The study provides a sound basis for optimum selection of filtering equipment.
