Abstract: Fine coal flotation performance is subject to the influence of a multiple factors which are largely grouped into 6 categories. They are interrelated and mutually restricted. In order to provide a better guidance for the fine coal flotation operation, an analysis is made in the paper of the 6 influencing factors, i.e. coal property, pulp property, reagent regime, flotation process, performance of flotation equipment and operating conditions, so as to lay a basis for the study on the interrelation of the factors involved and provide hence a theoretical support for the improvement and stability of fine coal flotation performance.
