Abstract: The plant's flotation system is relatively poor in performance. For tackling this problem and increasing the yield of flotation concentrate, the scheme for renovation of the flotation system is proposed based on the result of analysis of the problems, and the property of coal slime. Practice shows that the renovation has met with remarkable result as evidenced by noticeable increase of concentrate yield and tailings ash by 35.53 percentage point and 18.95 percentage points respectively.
