Abstract: As a solution to the problem relating to the excessively high moisture of flotation concentrate, use is made of the GPJ140/3-C pressure filter in place of the rapid-open filter press for dewatering of flotation concentrate, along with improvement and optimization of the flotation process. Practice shows that with the use of the pressure filter, the concentrate moisture is reduced to a level of 16%-19%, down by 7% compared with the original figure while the density of centrate is as low as 5-7 g/L. Moreover, the cake is in a loose and noncohesive form and can be evenly blended into other products.
