Abstract: Vibrating screen is a key equipment in coal preparation plant, which operates with the exciter as power source. The service life and operating state of exciter exert a great bearing on normal running of vibrating screen. Yet because of the technical characteristics of the exciter, it is rendered impossible to effect online monitoring of exciter in equipment management. For further enhancing equipment intelligent management level, Suancigou Coal Preparation Plant fits on the exciter an operating status online monitoring system. Practice shows the system can accurately identify equipment running status and guide the design of equipment maintenance plan, reducing, as a result, the equipment maintenance costs.
