Abstract:
In order to tackle the problem relating to the low utilization rate of Chalukou Mine′s molybdenum resources, a study is made on the recovery of lead and zinc from the mine′s discarded molybdenum tailings through preferential, mixed and separate flotation tests. Test result shows that in comparison with the above mentioned processes, a best result can be achieved by using the all-preferential flotation process coupled with particle filtering and hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity modification and control processes. With the use of this method, lead and zinc ores with a grade and recovery rate of 60.70% and 0.02% and 37.44% and 66.59% respectively can be obtained.
