    Comparison of separation performance of 3-product heavy medium cyclone and 2-stage 2-product heavy medium cyclone

    • 摘要: 为了比较三产品重介质旋流器和两段两产品重介质旋流器的分选效果,以公乌素选煤厂三产品重介质旋流器和两段两产品重介质旋流器为研究对象,完成了两种旋流器入选原煤、精煤、中煤、矸石的采样,并通过筛分、浮沉试验,系统地对比了入料中各粒级煤的分选效果,研究结果将对两种旋流器的分选效果和机理有一个量化、科学的理解和认识。

       

      Abstract: In order to make a comparison of the separation performance of the 3-product H. M. cyclone and the 2-stage 2-product H. M. cyclone, the 2 versions of cyclones used at Gongwusu Coal Preparation Plant are taken as the object of study. Based on screening and float-and-sink data of the raw coal feed, clean coal, middling and reject samples collected from each kind of cyclone, a systematic comparison is made of the performance of the two cyclones in separation of each size fraction of the feed coal. Through the comparative analysis, it is made possible to make a quantifiable evaluation of cyclone performance and gain a scientific insight into the separation mechanism of H. M. cyclone.
