Abstract: Through the study of the installation modes of various kinds of pumps, an improved method is used for mounting the rear guard plate of the slurry pump. With the use of the method, a lot of troubles encountered during its mounting process, such as damage of shaft caused by impact of the plate during its lift-up or detachment of lift hook, and the difficulty of getting the sorew-carrying holes well aligned, can all be eliminated, reducing as a result the safety hazard. Besides, the method is highly operable and can help reduce labor intensity and maintenance time.
