    煤系高岭土风选脱碳提质研究

    Study on upgrading of coal-series kaolinite through decarbonization using pneumatic cleaning method

    • 摘要: 有机碳是煤系高岭土中的主要杂质,对煤系高岭土的烧失量有较大的影响。为降低煤系高岭土中有机碳的含量,基于高岭土与有机碳之间存在密度差异,利用风力分选方法对煤系高岭土中的低密度的有机碳等杂质进行了脱除试验。试验结果表明:煤系高岭土的低密度物料中不仅含有大量有机碳,还有大量的碳酸钙与有机碳伴生,通过风力分选,不仅能降低煤系高岭土中的有机碳含量,从而降低高岭土的烧失量,还可以大大降低高岭土中碳酸钙的含量。

       

      Abstract: Organic carbon as the main impurity contained in coal-series kaolinite exerts a great influence on loss on ignition of the kaolinite. In order to reduce the content of organic carbon in kaolinite, test is made on removal of the low-density organic carbon and other impurities with pneumatic cleaning method as the kaolinite and organic carbon differ in density. Test result shows that the low-density materials contain not only a lot of organic carbon but also a high proportion of calcium carbonate associated with organic carbon; and the use of pneumatic cleaning method can lead to not only reduction of content of organic carbon and hence decrease of loss ignition of kaolinite, but also drastic reduction of content of calcium carbonate in kaolinite.
