Abstract: Inspired by the article Discussion on Inadaptability of flotation test standards published on the periodical Coal Preparation Technology ( No.1, 2021), and aiming to further the discussion on the related issues, the co-author would like to share some personal points of view with their counterparts and colleagues of the same occupation on the following five aspects in a bid to provide a reference for the formulation or revision of related standards: flotation performance evaluation indices, fine coal flotation test curve, fine coal flotability curve, laboratory coal flotation machine and cleaning operation comprehensive assessment index. The opinions put forward are intended to arouse the public concern. It is hoped that the industrial insiders may come up with their valuable opinions.
