Abstract: In order to step up the building of safety production standardization system and strengthen the system's classification, checking and assessment work for the coal washing enterprises, the paper starts with an introduction to the present status and trend of the building of the system. Following an analysis of the problems encountered in building of the system, the countermeasures that need to be taken are proposed. Analysis shows that the coal washing enterprises should establish an effective management mechanism, improve supervision management system and heighten the sense of awareness of the importance of the standardization system, and make sure that the safety production standardization system established is in consistent with the national safety policies and principles. Only in this way can the enterprises enhance the safety production standardization level, optimize production environment, improve production efficiency and achieve the goal of maximizing both social and economic benefits.
