Abstract:
In order to follow the trend of digital economy development and promote the digital transformation of coal industry, using the Hubei Xinyi chemical coal storage and transportation project as a case study, this paper makes an in-depth analysis on the application of digital delivery and BIM technology. The digital delivery of this project takes plant objects as key carriers, deeply integrating models, intelligent Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), various data, and documents, through professional software and tools, it completes a series of tasks related to data processing, conversion and verification, and achieves digital delivery through the engineering project management platform. Digital delivery covers three stages: design, procurement, and construction, each stage follows different delivery standards and delivers corresponding contents; as the core carrier for digital delivery, the BIM technology is adopted in the project design stage to achieve a three-dimensional forward design process with the participation of a full-professional team. The results show that the project takes the engineering data center as the core, achieves full-process digital delivery, effectively solving problems such as "errors, omissions, and collisions" in the design process, while enhancing collaborative management and operation and maintenance capabilities, with significant cost reduction and efficiency improvement. The deep integration of digital delivery and BIM technology provides practical examples and experience for the digital transformation of chemical coal storage and transportation systems and the coal industry, which can facilitate the industry's digital transition and high-quality development, enhance the competitiveness of the industry, and promote the digital upgrading of the industry.
