Development and industrial application of the high-efficiency self-cleaning sizing screen

Intensive dry screening of wet small coal tends to cause severe blockage of screen openings and,hence,the decrease of screening efficiency. To cope with this problem,a high- efficiency self-cleaning sizing screen has been developed. The paper elaborates on the background of the R＆D work,the screen’s technical parameters,structural and technical features,and the result of field application of the screen at Xiaokang Coal Mine. The application of the screen may serve as a helpful reference for the in- depth dry screening of wet small coal in coal preparation plants.
