Optimization and renovation of the coal slurry system at Matou coal preparation plant

In order to tackle the problems encountered in the coal slurry system in current use following the technical remoulding of plant’s dense medium separation system,extensive work is made on the renovation of the slurry system by taking a series of measures with the use of the idle spitzkasten. These include,among others,sending the finer sizes screened out from the tailings of the middlings magnetic separator to flotation circuit,and sending the overflow of the dredging sump back to the primary thickener.The perfection and optimization of the slurry system has met with favourable result.
