The practical measures for reducing dense medium consumption at Jinzhuang Coal Washery

Jinzhuang Coal Washery was operating with a high consumption of dense medium during its commissioning period. Based on result of analysis,a series of measures is adopted,including,among others,enhancing medium recovery performance of magnetic separator,as well as intensifying operational performance of medium draining screen and operational management. The specific measures taken have met with a good result,enabling the medium consumption to be dropped by 0. 5 kg per ton of raw coal treated.
