Application of the slime thermal drying technology at Zhaogu No.1 Mine Washery

Coal slime product is high in moisture,low in calorific value and sales income,and what ’s more,it is liable to cause severe environmental pollution. To tackle this problem,Zhaogu No. 1 Mine Washery started to treat the cake product of filter presses using thermal drying technology. The paper elaborates on the selection of thermal drying methods and the drying system finally selected for use,as well as the effective measures adopted for coping with the problems arising during the operation of the drying system. The application of the thermal drying technology has yielded favorable result.
