    Study on feasibility of using the lean coal produced by Dashe Mine for blast furnace pulverized coal injection

    • Lab test is conducted on the properties of the lean coal produced by Dashe Mine for determining its applicability for injection in blast furnace. Analysis of test result indicates the coal is distinguished by low sulfur,high carbon content,high calorific valve,favorable grindability and flammability,high fluidity and theoretical displacement ratio,and what’ more,it is non-explosive in nature. It proves to be an ideal coal for BF injection in pulverized form. It has been demonstrated through pilot-scale test that the use of the coal for BF injection is technically feasible.
