    Application of the automated flotation reagent adding system at Huangling No.1 Mine Coal Washery

    • For tackling the problem encountered in the use artificial flotation reagent adding system at the flotation workshop of the washery,an automated system is used instead of the manual system. Designed specifically for the subaeration flotation machine,the system can realize precise adding of flotation agents and timely monitoring of the density and flowrate of feed,pulp. Practice shows that with the use of the automated agent adding system,the ash of flotation concentrate can be more stably controlled in a range of 8%~9% and the total yield of clean coal is increased by 2 percentage points. Moreover,the use of the high-accuracy system has led to favorable general economic result due to elimination of loss of concentrate and reagents,reduced number of operators required and much lessened labor intensity,attaining,as a result,the aim of increasing efficiency with reduced labor force.
