Abstract
In order to improve the quality of coal-water slurry, the flotation concentrate from Jinjia Coal Mine Washery is selected as the object of study for making investations of the effects produced by slurryability, and such factors as type and dosage of dispersants used, agitation intensity and preparation temperature on the apparent viscosity of the CWS prepared. Test result shows that the addition of dispersant may result in increased slurryability and stability of the slurry prepared with flotation concentrate, and the use of the naphthalene-based dispersant N produces the most remarkable result. Under the conditions when the preparation is made with a dosage of 0.80% of naphthalene-based dispersant N, an agitation speed of 1 200 r/min and at a temperature of 40 ℃, a qualified CWS with a concentration of 67.90%, a grade-A flowability, an apparent viscosity of 925 mPa·s and a grade-Ⅲ stability can be obtained.
