Notes on pneumatic cleaning plant power consumption conversion coefficient specified in the standard GB 29446-2012 ＜The Norm of the Power Consumption per Ton of Coal Cleaned＞

The paper presents a commentary on the standard GB29446-2012 ＜ The Norm of the Power Consumption per Ton of Coal Cleaned ＞ formulated for power coal preparation plants, and part of the statistical figures of the power consumption per ton of coal treated by the coal dry cleaning plants in actual operation. After a comparison of the power consumption with that of the wet cleaning plants, the paper points out the unreasonableness of the dry-cleaning power consumption conversion coefficient set forth in the above cited standard, and proposes amendments of the conversion coefficient and its calculation method.
