Technique applied for control of dust produced by the coal handing system of Huangling No. 1 Mine’s coal preparation plant and effect obtained

The safety operation and physical and mental health of workers and service life of equipment are adversely affected by the serious dust nuisance in the operation of plant’s coal handing system.Based on result of analysis of distribution of dust-raising points and mechanisms involved,and through a survey of dust collecting equipment commonly used both within and abroad,the dust control schemes and approaches for tackling dust raising problems in operation of dust collection systems are proposed.As evidenced by data obtained through industrial test,the ultrasonic atomization dust suppression system works remarkably well in performance.The use of the system can lead to effective control of dust at various dust raising points and decrease of dust concentration by 86% on coal handing site.
