    Study of the optimal process for blending the high-ash high-sulphur coal produced in Pingshuo mining area for most favourable economic result

    • For gaining an improved economic result in blending the high-ash high-sulphur coal of Pingshuo mining area,and in view of the need of users and structure of commercial coal,an investigation is conducted of the optimal scheme for blending such coal with an aim to attaining an economically most favourable result.Result of study shows that through blending of the high-ash high-sulphur coal with washed middlings and slime with the proportion of the former accounting for 24%~36%,the added value of the blended coal can be increased by 8~13 yuan per ton.For instance,when the high-ash highsulphur coal is blended with the domestic typical power coal at the coal transhipment port Qinhuangdao in a ratio of 43%~50%,the added value of the blended coal can be increased by 12~17 yuan per ton.This may result in noticeable enhancement of the overall economic value of the saleable coal.
