Design and application of the early warning instrument for monitoring of pulp level in agitating tank of filter press at Renlou Mine Coal Preparation Plant

In order to tackle the problem relating to the instability of the flotation concentrate pulp level in the agitating tank of filter press,an electric pulp level early warning instrument is specifically developed.As evidenced by field application of the instrument at Renlou plant,the feedback information of pulp level can be made available to the operator of filter press in an efficient and visual manner.This may help raise working efficiency with reduced labor intensity,avoid overflow of flotation concentrate and protect the feed pump of filter press against damage caused by running in no-load state.
