Development and application of the vertical screw discharge centrifuge's basket-scraper clearance adjuster

For tackling the problem concerning the considerably high moisture of the product of the centrifuge, an adjuster is designed and developed for regulating the clearance between the centrifuge's discharge scraper rotor and basket. The use of the adjuster has led to effective control of product moisture, which is reduced from 17%-21% down to 15%-17%, as well as improved performance, more convenient operation, higher efficiency and less cycle time of the centrifuge.
