Design and field application of the pneumatically-operated conveyor belt cleaner

Sticking of coal dust and slime onto the belt and structural elements of a belt conveyor is a common nuisance. To address this issue, a pneumatically-operated belt cleaner is developed based on analysis of the belt cleaners commonly used. Practice shows that the use of the belt cleaner developed can lead to effective elimination of sticking-up of material onto belt, tearing and damage of belt, and reduced corrosion of bearings of rollers.
