    Optimization of coal separation processes through study of coal property and adjustment of product mix according to diversified market demands

    • An analysis is made in the paper of the characteristics of raw coal and saleable coal and the washability of the former, as well as the effect of ash and moisture of clean coal on its calorific value. It is aimed to enhance the coal separation sharpness through adoption of optimized coal separation system and by making most of the good performance of the process equipment, so as to make it possible to produce various kinds of saleable coal products of different properties, enhance coal blending flexibility through fine coal grading according to quality and assortment of product mix. The adoption of these measures can enable the saleable coal to meet the required specifications and lead to higher coal production efficiency and improved economic result.
