Exploratory study and practice of the measures for reduction of medium consumption at Tianneng Company′s Coal Preparation Plant

To address the problem relating to the plant′s high medium consumption, medium consumption management and control measures are adopted in both technical and managerial aspects, based on the result of an analysis of the causes of high medium consumption, and in line of the specific operating conditions. The adoption of the measures has led to effective reduction of medium cost because of the decrease of medium consumption per ton of raw coal treated to 1.25 kg from 2.67 kg.
