Study and application of the technique for reducing moisture of cake product of filter press at Bojiang Haizi Coal Preparation Plant

In order to realize effective reduction of cake product of filter press, and in line of the current operation status of the plant, work is made on the optimization of the thickness of the filter plate and depth of filter chamber, 2 structural parameters of the KZG600/2000-U high-efficiency rapid-open diaphragm-type filter press. After optimization, a noticeably favorable economic benefit has been gained due to average drop of cake moisture by 1.60 percentage point, decrease of probability of damage of filter cloth, decrease of filtration time required, and increase of capacity of filter press.
