    Study and application of the technological process for recovery of low-calorific value fuel coal from discarded refuse

    • For reducing the loss of coal in refuse, a refuse rewashing system is added at Geliping Coal Preparation Plant. The primary equipment used in the system is a SKT jig which has been left used. For this purpose, work is made on the remolding of the jig, such as readjustment of its screen plate inclination angle, change of reject discharge wheel control mode, and direct use of overflow of bucket elevator as circulating water of the jig for reducing the adverse effect on the existing coal slurry treatment system. The low-grade coal recovered can be blended into middlings product, yielding for the plant a remarkable economic and social benefit.
