    The measures for reduction of medium consumption at Zhenchengdi Coal Preparation Plant

    • Low efficiency of medium draining screen, underperformance of magnetic separator and high density of circulating water are challenges facing the plant. For coping with this situation, work is made on the renovation of the following aspects: Change of sieve bend's feeding mode, re-adjustment of height and size of nozzles and splash board of linear vibrating screen, and change of magnetic separator's feed pulp density and discharge mode. Practice shows that after renovation, the medium consumption is reduced from 2.62 kg/t to 1.42 kg/t, which is well up to the standard set for a high-efficiency coal preparation plant.
