    The schemes for implementation of intelligent lighting and personnel positioning technologies at Panji Coal Preparation Plant

    • In order to enable Panji plant to operate with reduced energy consumption, less costs and improved efficiency, an area communication network is developed based on the concept of development of intelligent coal preparation plant and the existing optical fiber communication environment, and by using the technologies like wired Ethernet link, zigbee wireless network, and personnel positioning. Through the communication system, it is possible to perform successfully a multiple of functions, such as intelligent lighting, personnel positioning, remote management of lighting installations, query of positions of operators, playback of tracks, and “making the light come on with people around and go off when people move away” through interaction with personnel positioning cards. This make it possible for the plant to have an integrated comprehensive digital, visualized and safety lighting management system.
