    State-of-the-art and perspective of the research work on the technology for triboelectrostatic separationof carbon from flyash

    • Flyash is the main solid discharge of coal-fired power plants, To have it first upgraded through decarbonization treatment has become the requisite for its utilization as a useful resource. Triboelectrostatic separation of flyash is far more superior in technology and has become a research hotspot in the industry. Following an account of the state-of -art of the technologies for separation of carbon from flyash, the paper presents a detailed introduction to the triboelectric separation processes and equipment currently available, and a comprehensive analysis and review of the factors affecting the high efficiency of this technology, from the perspective of 3 aspects-particle charging, operating conditions and intelligent control. Finally, the research work underway in the fields of engineering design theory system, high-efficiency control, intelligent detection and control method, as well as the perspective of the development this technology are pointed out.
