Practice of the coal mine-power plant joint operation mode in eastern Erdos, Inner Mongolia

Suancigou Mining Co.Ltd. and Jingtai Power Plant, 2 enterprises both located in Inner Mongolia, are jointly operating in eastern Erdos. Analysis of the practice of the joint operation mode shows that: under the present prevailing circumstance that the coal-fired power plant is subjected to the impact imposed by the coal market, the joint operation mode practiced through cross share holding makes it possible for the coal mine and the power plant to carry out close cooperation in multiple production links of both sides in form of an organic circular economic entity and to achieve a favorable social benefit while reducing their respective operating cost. This operation mode may serve as a reference for the development and reform of similar domestic enterprises jointly run by coal mine and power plant.
