    Renovation of the coarse slime recovery system of Lyushuidong Mine Coal Preparation Plant

    • In view of the incapability of the slurry water treatment system of the coal preparation plant to meet the needs of production, two alternative schemes for renovation of the coarse slime recovery system are proposed. The most optimum scheme is finally selected based on comparative analysis, and selection is also made of the appropriate equipment for use in the renovated system. Pratice shows that the renovation has led to simplification of coal slurry water treatment system and effective recovery of coarse slime. When used for treating a feed volume 11, 565 tons more than that before renovation, the quick-open filter press can operate with 291 less cycles. Yet the coarse slime recovered in this case amounts to 3 492 tons with a recovery ratio of 17.72%.
