    Application of flotation reagent automatic dosing system at Changcun Mine Coal Preparation Plant

    • The problems encountered in operation of the plant′s flotation system are difficulties to make real-time control of pulp density and feed rate, delayed adjustment of flotation process, low yield and unstable ash of flotation concentrate, inaccurate dosing of agent, and high labor intensity of operators. As a countermeasure, an automatic agent dosing system is added, so as to make the crucial data of the flotation system more informationized and transparent, and enable the operators to work with less workload and get timely informed of the situation of the flotation process. As indicated by the comparison of data recorded before and after the use of the automatic agent dosing system, the yield of concentrate is increased by 2 percentage points with a reduction of agent consumption by 10 percentage points, bringing about a favorable economic benefit for the plant.
