    Present status and prospect of the urban mineral resources utilization technology

    • The utilization of urban mineral resources can not only reduce the amount of solid waste, but also makes it possible to have the resources recycled and utilized, cutting, as a result, the cost of exploitation and utilization of such sources and environmental pollution—an important approach for recycling of mineral sources and maintaining sustainable development. The paper starts with an introduction to the current urban mineral resources treatment and utilization condition in China, and then goes to analyze the technologies applied for separation and enrichment of such sources. It is proposed that construction of utilization and circular industrial chain and comprehensive demonstration base is the only way to better address the urban mineral resources utilization issue.
