Laser ranging sensor-based coal bin automatic loading control system

For effecting automatic control of bin loading operations in coal preparation plant, a laser ranging sensor-based automatic control system is adopted. A study is made in the paper of the design scheme and reliability of the system, and corresponding measures are taken to tackle the problems encounted after its field application. Practice shows that with the use of the system, remote and process control of bin loading operations can be successfully effected.
