R&D and application of the super gravity-fed 3-product heavy medium cyclone

Following an introduction to the working principle and structural design of the S-3GHMC ultrahigh-capacity gravity-fed 3-product heavy medium cyclone, the paper goes to elaborate on the technical measures for allowing it to operate with a much larger capacity and a further lowered size limit of separation while still ensuring the cyclone's high separation sharpness.The technical performances of two plants obtained through the use of the S-3GHMC cyclone are cited for example.
