The technical measures for reducing overcrushing of coal at coal preparation plant

The paper starts with an elaboration on the adverse effect of coal overcrushing on economic performance of coal preparation plants, and then goes to introduce the process links in coal cleaning operations that may cause overcrushing of coal.The technical measures for avoiding overcrushing of coal especially at the coal crushing, screening, handling and transfer, and bunker loading links are proposed.The measures proposed may serve as a reference for the design and renovation of coal preparation plants.
