Study of the effect of flocculant on centrifugal dewatering of coarse-grained cleaned slime

    • In order to reduce the moisture of the coarse-grained clean slime product of teetered-bed separator of Huaning Coal Washery, test on centrifugal dewatering of the slime is conducted with anionic, cationic and nonionic polyacrylamide with a molecular weight of 300 million, respectively. Test result shows that the 3 kinds of polyacrylamide, APAM, CPAM and NPAM, can help promote centrifugal dewatering of TBS's product to varying extent. The CPAM is most effective and at a dosage of 500 g/t, the product moisture of centrifuge can be lowered down to 6.19%. The APAM comes second. A fairly good effect can also be expected with the use of NPAM but only at a low concentration.
