Application of the SSC800 sizing crusher at Wudong Coal Preparation Plant

The sizing crusher originally used by Wudong Coal Preparation Plant suffers from the drawbacks of being low in crushing performance and capacity and is likely to get plugged in operation. To address the problem and based on result of study and analysis, the SSC 800 sizing crusher is used in place of the one originally used. The paper presents an introduction to the structural design, working principle and technical features of the crusher as well as the result of its field application. Practice shows that when used for crushing large-size raw coal or waste rock, the crusher possesses a series of merits of being high in crushing strength and capacity, low in overcrushing ratio and convenient in maintenance with the crushing size being adjustable.
