Practice of technological upgrading of Jinhuagong Coal Preparation Plant

Because of the insufficiency of the treating capacity, as well as the diffeculties in control of the upper size limit of crushed product and instability of calorific value of product, the plant meets difficulties in marketing of its coal products. Based on the result of comparative analysis of the coal property, cleaning systems and process layout, the plant is technologically upgraded through the addition of a heavy medium separation system for treating coarse coal with shallow-trough separator. The commissioning of the upgraded project has achieved the design target and led to increase of treating capacity and the possibility to make coal separation according to requirement.
