Application of the TDS intelligent dry cleaning machine at Wangjiata Coal Preparation Plant

In order to cater to the need for upgrading of coal cleaning system and expansion of capacity of Wangjiata Coal Preparation Plant, following a technical feasibility study, the TDS intelligent dry cleaning machine is introduced. Unlike the traditional wet cleaning process, the upgraded system operates with a combined processes consisting of TDS, fines removal screen and shallow-bath heavy medium separator, which can effectively treat the 150~6 mm power coal. The use of the system has led to less generation of coal slime and enhanced coarse coal yield and quality, creating, as a result, an economic gain of 23.6598 million yuan for the plant per year. It proves to be a new approach for the upgrading and expansion of capacity of power coal cleaning plants.
