    Optimization of the flotation system of Handan Coal Preparation Plant-experimental study and application

    • The raw coal treated by Handan Coal Preparation Plant comes from 4 different mines. The flotation indices are found difficult to control for the relatively poor quality and high content of fine slime of individual coal. To tackle this problem, experimental study is made to explore the optimum flotation agent and process that can better adapt to the different properties of the raw coal. Study result shows that in comparison with the Huixian agent, the KD environmentally-friendly agent is much more effective and its consumption is 40% lower, and the increase of agitating speed of pulp preconditioner and intensification of pulp conditioning process can result in noticeable improvement of flotation performance.
