Application of the large-size cyclo-microbubble flotation column at Binhu Coal Preparation Plant

An introduction is made in the paper to the working principle and structural features of the FCMC-5500 large-size cyclo-microbubble flotation column and the result of its application for fine coal flotation at Binhu Coal Preparation Plant. Field application shows that the flotation column can operate with a high selectivity, a noticeably good ash reduction effect and a favorable economic result. Moreover, the pay-back period is short. As a fine coal separation equipment, it has a broad prospect for widespread industrial application.
